Its strange to meet a man after he has left this life, but I have met you this past week, Billy, through your mother and her intense love for you, and I wanted to write into the ethers that she is surviving you as well as she can imagine how to do, but she's having a hard time of it and if you can send her angels or wise beings to lighten her heavy heart, that'd be a good thing.
As the 1st anniversary of your passing comes closer - although I understand that angelic time isn't like earthly time - she will be pressed hard against her own need to survive you so she can be here to love all those who are still here and love and worry about her.  If you could quietly appear to her inner vision and smile at her again, it would make her day.  Please speak to someone 'up there' where you are and see if they can help you out in this... she's feeling a little crazy down here in the flesh, and a saintly vision might help a whole lot, OK?  Just an idea...  Be at Peace, Billy - you are greatly loved and missed back here. Billus...everyone who knows you misses you. The truth is that we are all selfish in our own way, and we weren't done hanging out with you. 

I think the truth is that you aren't done hanging out with us either. Personally, I just spent a fantastic week with you and some of the people who love you (Van, Steve, April, Mo, Cody, Angel, Lauren, Amanda, Darren, Brandon, Alex, Janine). My sweetheart Jenn was there as well, and although you did meet her briefly when she visited Flagstaff, you didn't get a chance to hang with her. Both of your loss. ;>

Yes, I didn't get to spend as much time with you as I would have liked. I would have enjoyed sitting on a porch with Steve and you, senile as hell, while we all tried to remember what the fuck a hobbit was, and why I was flipping you off!

I don't know quite what to say, but i'm a good friend of Steve, his older brother. I met Billy once, and at the time the only impression that I had of Billy was that he definately a Lantz, and looked just like Steve, so I knew he was a good guy. I left Arizona a few years ago, and I just found out about this (5-27-07) and for me this is the 2nd time I've had a good friend of mine's brother die in an accident, and it doesn't get any easier. To Steve and the rest of his family, my heart TRULY goes out to you. To Billy, I knew you for about an hour, but I'll never forget you. In 1 measly hour, you had that much of an impact on a person that you just met. So here's to you my friend. Godspeed to you.
